Thanks to all who came out to the two-day Bernice Tweedy Irrevocable Trust auction, held Live in August 2022, at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, IN. Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy were long time Carthage/Knightstown residents and owners of Tweedy Lumber company, a business that operated for over 100 years. They were great members of the community always friendly, and generous with their time and talents. They were also passionate antique collectors, the Coins and Jewelry sold on Friday August 19, 2022 with 52 live bidders on the floor, and 84 registered bidders online. The Saturday auction with all of the antiques and furnishings, and outdoor and garden furnishings selling on Saturday with 303 registered bidders in attendance. Highlights from the auction include a cast iron garden bench, 2 period antique tall chests, a set of Tiffany sterling silver flatware, a sterling lip cut glass pitcher, a 1909-SVDB penny, other key date pennies, and type coins.
