This is an old-fashioned live auction conducted on the property, where buyers can walk the grounds, inspect the merchandise and bid in person.

Live On-Site Only
This auction takes place in person on the property. There is no online bidding. You must be present to bid.
Registration
All bidders must register and get a bidder number with a valid photo ID. Registration opens at 9:00 AM.
Inspection
Inspection is open from 8:30 AM on auction day. Buyers should inspect every item before bidding and rely on their own inspection.
Buyer's Premium
A 15% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of every item.
Sales Tax
No sales tax will be charged on this auction, except on titled vehicles. Indiana sales tax of 7% applies to titled vehicles unless the buyer provides a valid exemption certificate at registration.
Payment
Payment is due in full on auction day. We accept cash, local checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. No American Express. No items leave the property until they are paid for.
Payment Discount
You get a 3% discount for paying in cash.
As-Is, Where-Is
Everything sells in its present condition, with no warranty or guarantee of any kind. The running condition of vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, mowers, and equipment is unknown unless the auctioneer announces it at the time of sale.
Titled Items
Titles for vehicles, boats, and other titled items will be given to the buyer [at checkout / mailed once funds clear]. The buyer is responsible for all transfer, registration, and BMV fees.
Bidding
The auctioneer sets bid increments and settles any dispute. The auctioneer's decision is final. Once an item is sold, it becomes the buyer's responsibility.
Removal
Items may be removed on auction day after payment. All items must be removed by Friday November 6, Buyers must bring their own help, trailers, loading equipment, and tools. Burgess Auctions and the sellers do not provide loading assistance. Items left after the deadline are considered abandoned and will not be refunded.
Shipping
Burgess Auctions does not pack or ship. Shipping and delivery may be arranged through [Shipping Saint / Truk-Em] on paid invoices only, and they will bill you separately.

Burgess Auctions LLC, its staff, and the sellers are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or lost or stolen items. You attend at your own risk. Please use caution around shop areas, equipment, and outbuildings.
