There is no charge to register or place bids in our auctions. You only pay if you're the winning bidder.
Some auctions include a buyer's premium, which is an additional percentage added to the final bid price. If a buyer's premium applies, it will always be listed in the auction's Terms & Conditions before bidding begins.

Yes. You can increase your maximum bid at any time before the auction closes.
If you're already the highest bidder, increasing your maximum bid won't automatically increase the current bid. It simply raises the maximum amount you're willing to bid if another bidder competes for the item.
Maximum bidding lets you enter the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item. The bidding system will automatically place bids on your behalf only as needed to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum amount.
If another bidder exceeds your maximum bid, you'll have the opportunity to place another bid before the auction closes.
A buyer's premium is an additional fee added to the winning bid amount. If a buyer's premium applies, it will be clearly stated in the auction's Terms & Conditions before bidding begins.

If another bidder places a higher bid than your maximum, you'll receive an outbid notification when notifications are enabled.
