The idea is to sell the opportunity, not the fact that these pieces remained after the first auction.
Auction Format
This is an online-only auction. Bidding opens Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. Lots begin closing Monday, November 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM ET, in lot-number order, three lots per minute.
Buyer’s Premium
A 15% buyer’s premium is added to the winning bid on every lot.
Sales Tax
7% Indiana sales tax applies to all purchases unless a valid Indiana resale certificate or tax-exempt form is on file with Burgess Auctions before the auction closes.
Payment
Invoices are sent after the auction closes. Payment is due by Wednesday, November 18, 2026.

- Cash is accepted in person.
- Pay in cash and save 3%. Pay within 24 hours of your invoice and save another 1%. You can use both discounts together.
By registering, bidders authorize Burgess Auctions to charge the card on file for any unpaid invoice .
Pickup
Pickup is Tuesday, November 17 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Burgess Auctions Gallery, 45 W Carey Street, Knightstown, IN.
- Invoices must be paid in full before items are released.
- Buyers are responsible for their own packing, loading and help.
- Items not picked up by will be considered abandoned and forfeited, with no refund.
Shipping is available through Shipping Saint, our third-party shipping partner. Shipping Saint picks up paid orders from our gallery every Wednesday, packs them professionally and bills the buyer directly on a separate invoice. Only paid invoices are released for shipping. Condition
All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties, expressed or implied. Descriptions, sizes and measurements are provided as a courtesy and are approximate. Clothing is vintage or pre-owned unless marked “new with tags,” and may show normal wear. Bidders are responsible for inspecting items or asking questions before bidding. Preview is by appointment; call 765-445-7814. All sales are final.
Bidding
Every bid is a binding contract to buy the lot. Burgess Auctions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any bid, to withdraw any lot, and to settle any bidding dispute at its sole discretion. Burgess Auctions is not responsible for missed bids caused by internet, device or platform problems. Please bid early.
